Berkeley Hills
This iconic property was built in 1926, designed by the preeminent San Francisco designers of the time—architect Willis Polk with gardens by the landscape architecture firm Olmsted Brothers.
This project strikes a delicate balance of preserving historical charm and infusing contemporary functionality. We took inspiration from the architectural elements of the space, including the arched windows and doors, curved doorways and linear beams. The entry and living room are now chic, comfortable and inviting. We managed to create a harmonious historic space that feels like a modern home.
